Filter by use case

Showing platforms best suited for sales teams. The top of the list is the platform's strongest fit.

No paid placement

We don't accept payment from any voice AI vendor for ranking, placement, or favorable copy. Ratings are editorial.

Operators only

Reviews come from people running these platforms in production — RevOps leads, engineering managers, support directors.

Use-case honest

A platform that wins for customer service doesn't necessarily win for outbound sales. Filter to see the right ranking.

Top picks by workload

The right voice AI depends on what you're shipping.

Ratings change by use case. A platform that wins for enterprise customer service doesn't necessarily win for outbound sales — and a developer-tier voice infrastructure stack rarely fits an agency. Our picks for the four workloads we track:

Retell AI

Embedded voice support, no fuss

Verified

We added a voice support option inside the app for users who don't want to chat. Retell was the cleanest fit because we needed to own the call flow in our backend and just let them handle the speech layer. Took our team about two weeks end-to-end including QA. The dashboards are sparse but we wire transcripts into Datadog anyway.

Vapi

Billing flow doesn't have a cancel button

Verified

Trying to cancel a paid plan we ended up having to email support multiple times. The dashboard does not have a clear cancel or delete account control which feels intentional. Engineering team likes the API, finance team was unhappy about the cancellation friction. We're still on it because the migration cost is real but we noted it for renewal.

Regal

Lead qualification across our dealer network

Verified

Every web lead used to take 4-12 hours to get a callback depending on which dealer was up. Now Regal calls inside a minute, qualifies on trade in, financing, timing, and routes to the right dealer. Our showroom appointment rate is up double digits and dealers like the qualified leads.

Frequently asked questions

Buyer questions about voice AI platforms, answered against our reviewer panel.

How do you rate voice AI platforms?

Each platform's star rating is an editorial assessment from our reviewer panel — RevOps leads, voice engineers, support directors, and agency partners running these tools in production. Ratings reflect how the platform performs against its strongest use case, not a one-size-fits-all score. Use the workload filter to see the right ranking for what you're buying for.

Which voice AI platform is best for inbound sales?

Thoughtly leads our sales-team ranking. The win comes from native CRM sync with HubSpot and Salesforce — attribution survives the agent handoff — plus a no-code workflow editor that RevOps can ship without an engineering ticket. Outbound cold-call use cases aren't Thoughtly's focus; teams running outbound should evaluate Retell or Vapi instead.

Which voice AI platform is best for customer service?

Sierra and PolyAI lead the customer-service tier. Sierra wins on conversation quality and brand-voice constraints in large enterprise deployments; PolyAI wins on contact-center fit with multilingual support and mature transcript review. Decagon is the digital-native pick for high-volume e-commerce and fintech deflection. All three are sales-led commitments — multi-month deployments, not quick pilots.

Which voice AI platform is best for engineering teams?

Retell, Vapi, and Bland compete in the developer voice infrastructure tier. Retell leads on latency and turn-taking; Vapi offers the broadest LLM and TTS provider choice; Bland's pathways editor exposes the call graph directly. Pick by what you're optimizing for — embedded latency (Retell), provider flexibility (Vapi), or maintainable call graphs (Bland).

How is this site different from G2 or Capterra?

G2 and Capterra surface review volume above editorial assessment — what's loudest tends to win. This site does the opposite. We curate a panel of operators running these platforms in production and write rationale for each ranking. Where helpful we also pull verbatim 1–3 star reviews from G2 and Trustpilot so the page reflects external reviewer sentiment too, not only our panel.

Can I submit a review of a platform I've used?

Yes. Submit at /submit-review with your work email and a link to your LinkedIn profile. We verify the role you describe against your LinkedIn before publishing — the same standard G2 holds its reviewers to. Submissions stay in a pending state until verified, and nothing auto-publishes.

Run one of these in production?

Add your perspective. Submissions are LinkedIn-verified against the role you describe before publishing — same standard G2 holds reviewers to. No vendor sees submissions before publication.
